Moville is a small tourist town, situated on the west bank of Lough Foyle and the eastern edge of the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula, near the northernmost point in Ireland. Across Lough Foyle lies Northern Ireland, with the city of Derry being about 30 km south of Moville. While most of our days are spent in Moville, we do hop on a bus fairly regularly and wander around in a different town, thus the blog name, Somewhere in Ireland.

old victorian house
for sale, built in 1834 with four bedrooms and an excellent view over Lough Foyle for €169,000.
It is amazing to me to see the age of the house. I live where the oldest house is pushing ten years old. I can't imagine maintaining an older house. Our last home was twenty-five years old and it needed repairs.
I like the first photo especially because of the gate. The old girl looks good on the outside. It would be interesting to see the interior.
Ha Bill, Mooie strakke hoekwoning is het en zo te zien goed onderhouden.
ReplyDeleteGroet kees.
Looks not expensive to me but I would love a bay window or some other kind of form on it.
ReplyDeleteThat is not so expensive for 4 bedrooms and a view. But the house I am not so fond of...
ReplyDeleteAttractive matching of colours with the gate and the door frame.
ReplyDeleteIt looks in good shape for its age. Must be nice to have a lake view.
ReplyDelete...is that a good price?
ReplyDeleteFor this area it is. It also depends on what shape the house is in.
DeleteThe colourful trim brightens it up. I think it needs shutters and flower boxes to enhance the facade.

So what do you think? Is it modernized inside? Any mold? Is that a good price? Hmm...I think I'll stay where I am. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful house for sale.
Will inside also look nice, I guess so.
Groettie from Patricia.
I like the colours of the gate and the door frame, it brightens it up nicely.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty one! It will make a nice home for someone.
ReplyDeleteX marks the spot! The gate is a lovely one & the house seems like great value!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend,Bill!
It is so stark!
ReplyDeleteThat's a reasonable price.
ReplyDeleteThe blue frames and blue gate add a lovely sparkle to this old place.
ReplyDeleteI would love to buy this house, but I think it might be too big for me.
ReplyDeleteThat seems quite a reasonable price for something of that age.
ReplyDeleteThis place has seen a lot of history! I'd love to live there.
